Donating to First Baptist:

By clicking on the Donate button above, you will be provided with a form to allow you to give to First Baptist Church with your credit card and to schedule regular giving using the same card if you wish. CHIMP (Charity Impact) is a registered Canadian charity and will issue you a tax receipt for each donation. You can also go to and register with them for more options and to manage your tax receipts within your account with them.

Thank you for choosing to give to First Baptist in this way. Giving through CHIMP removes the need for FBC volunteers to count your contribution as CHIMP deposits your donation directly into the FBC bank account. An account with CHIMP also allows you to give your donation anonymously, if you wish, as no one at FBC needs to know who the gift comes from. Giving through CHIMP also removes the labour involved at FBC in recording these donations and in providing you with a charitable receipt at year end.

Using your credit card for giving requires payment of a fee.  You receive a donation receipt for the full amount.  However, the church receives 3% less than your donation (2% for the credit card and 1% for CHIMP administration).

Luke 6:38 (NIV)

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap, or with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Please note:

This is only one of three options you have for giving to First Baptist Church. Here are the other two:

1 – Giving with cash or cheque in FBC Church envelopes.  These envelopes are available in the back of the church pews or you will be issued a box of envelopes with an identification number on them for your exclusive use on request.  If you use a pew envelope, please remember to spell your name clearly and provide sufficient contact information for proper receipting.

2 – Giving through auto debit withdrawal from your bank account. Please check with the Welcome Centre for forms to use in applying for this service.

May God bless you
